Blue Boats

 

A sweltering summers evening - still, calm but oh so hot. A turquoise sky is rare in Richmond - it matches my earring.

 

The painterly effect comes from the boats and leaves moving ever so slightly during the long exposure.

 

A perfect end to a beautiful evening. A couple said to me that I should have been there half an hour earlier - I had missed the sunset. I can`t be everywhere all of the time. I don`t know what they saw
- what I saw was quite stunning.
