Lock Bridge

After photographing the Lock Gate House I went round the other side to take a
picture looking towards Isleworth. It was too dark to see anything clearly so I
started to pack my gear up.

As I turned round I saw through the span of the bridge, the other three bridges in Richmond all lit up. I set up again and took this picture.

I was lucky the tide was out. The steps on the water line, where the boatmen pull their small boats up to the next level, can be clearly seen. The tungsten lights make the bridge look as if it's made of gold.
