White Cross Hotel at Twilight

This is the photograph that started the whole project off.

It was taken by my wife, Shelley, before the pub changed it`s name.

They dropped "Hotel" because too many people wanted bed & breakfast.
You can understand why people would want to stay there when, coming over Richmond bridge, the first thing you see is the pub in the twilight of a
hot summers day.
